I offer creative, hands-on workshops here at Stoney Creek. Learn how to work with clay, make handmade paper, or create Artist Trading Cards.

No experience is required. Materials are provided. Groups and children are welcome! Please contact me for details, prices and available dates.

Pottery
The basic techniques of handbuilding are taught to new participants and attainable projects are introduced. As your confidence increases, you’ll be amazed at what you can accomplish. All ages and experience levels are welcome to come and create!

Papermaking
The fun of making paper is experienced as you learn how to pull and couch sheets of paper. Then, you can form sheets with inclusions or using several colours. People of all ages can produce beautiful and useful sheets and envelopes.

Artist Trading Cards
Artist Trading Cards are 2.5” x 3.5” pieces of art that are easy and fun to make and trade. ATC makers are an international community where artists and non-artists alike make cards in any medium (paint, collage, printing, fabric etc.) to trade with each other. We will explore many techniques for creating cards and finish with a trading session. Be creative together, experiment with artists’ materials, and have fun.
